That's a really cute idea, I've never seen anyone do this before. Do you do other X-Men?

Well most of them are useable without so much photoshopping, but in the RPG I'm currently in, I use Beverly Mitchell for Magma, Ben Affleck for Colossus, Rachael Leigh Cook (reddening the hair just a little) for Rachel Summers, and Ingo Rademacher (Jax on General Hospital) for Archangel. I have a batch of him as blue-skinned Archangel, but skin is a lot harder than hair. Usually we use comic icons for combat posts and the played by ones for everyday life kind of things.

I hope you don't mind but I took a look around at your journal and your icons, I'm totally fascinated by the rping. I don't think I could ever write but I love the idea of people out there taking real photos and writing the X-Men in real situations. I bet you've had a lot of discussions about which actors would be best. (personally I think Karl Urban should play EVERY role, hah) Anyway, thanks. :)

Cool, I also do X-men. I have a batch of Reese as Polaris (not my PB choice) and I've done some other fun like Justin Chatwin as Kurt, Sophia Bush as X23, Paul Walker as Havok, and Jesse Metcalfe as Forge.

I like Kate Hudson best for Polaris.

I think Amande Peet pulls it off the best and still looks sexy.... Something about the dark eyebrows makes the green okay...

I've dyed my hair green for st. patricks day for years and always look kinda odd cause my natural blonde eyebrows that i forget to pencil.

Yeah, my only problem with Amanda Peet was finding someone to play Alex, because god forbid I couldn't do pb icons together without a bunch of extra work.

On some of them I actually colored the eyebrows, but you can't really tell when it gets shrunk down, so a lot of times I didn't bother.
