I had never heard of her until one day when I was reading my friendsfriends page. I have Tamora Pierce's journal friended (speaking of AWESOME YA authors) and I think they are friends.
I had read about some of her signings and stuff on her journal but didn't think much about going out to find her work until I saw a review of Wintergirls on another 50bookchallenge post and decided I had to find her.
